Hard Work

Success comes from failing, learning how to do it better…and then doing better next time. We emphasize that at the core, hard work is all that stands in the way of an athlete being better than the rest.

Injury Prevention

Our goal is to make sure young athletes reach their peak…and stay there. With the right training, the possibility of injuries is greatly decreased, which means many more years of fun and success.

Emotional Strength

Athletic improvements aren’t the only goal at Apex Athletes. We provide a stable, supportive place to develop and build emotional intelligence, too. That helps with team play and individual capacity on and off the field/court/ice.

Habit Forming

Innate athleticism is only one piece of the puzzle. It can be taught. Athleticism requires exercise. But healthy habits like positive thinking, focus, good sleep, and good food are just as important.

Confidence Building

Great athletes know the importance of getting out of their comfort zones. To do that, they need confidence. By setting realistic but challenging goals, we build confidence in our athletes so they aren’t afraid to do what others won’t.

Fun Environment

We want to make sure none of our athletes feel like hard work is a chore, so we prioritize fun & positivity. Sports are not easy, but they should always be fun. 

Personalized, 1-on-1 training and exercise plans that are tailored to the athletes you and your specific needs & areas of growth.

In a group setting, our athletes are trained in teamwork and the importance of working and growing together.

Athletes of all ages immerse themselves in training, healthy habits, and personal goals during our training camps.

Our Founder

Joe Ostrand has a wealth of experience nurturing with young athletes, with a special focus on ages 8 to 18 – a crucial time for honing skills and discovering passions. Our mission goes beyond just the sport; we’re dedicated to crafting a comprehensive skill set that encompasses overall well-being, not just athletic prowess. It’s remarkable what young people can accomplish when challenged properly. Our goal is also to create an environment of fun. Hard work doesn’t have to be a chore. We think hard work and accomplishment go hand in hand, and when both are present, it’s fun!

Joe has an impressive track record, having collaborated with USA Hockey on the international stage and making waves at the Western Regional High Performance camp. Beyond his hands-on involvement, Joe dedicates time to studying both contemporary and traditional techniques, all centered around enhancing performance, safeguarding against injuries, and instilling valuable life skills.
